Save a Bee is a concept we're crowdfunding into reality. Here's the plain-English version of what that means for you as a backer — and exactly how we handle the one piece of data we collect.

It's a concept — the renders aren't the final product
Every product image and video on this site is a 3D concept render — no kit has been manufactured yet, so there is no photo of a finished one to show you. Backing the campaign is what funds the first production run. Going from concept to manufacturing means the final design, materials, dimensions, colours and contents may change: our commitment is to improve the kit wherever we can, and to tell backers openly — before we ship — about any change that affects what they backed. We'll keep everyone posted as the real thing takes shape.
Pledges, rewards & delivery
Pledges are made on Kickstarter, never on this site — we never see or process your card details. Your pledge is governed by Kickstarter's Terms of Use and Our Rules, which oblige us, once funded, to complete the project and fulfil every reward — or, if we ever couldn't, to account publicly for the work done and the money spent and offer to return what's left to backers who didn't receive theirs. Delivery dates are our best estimates, not promises: building a real product carries risk and timelines can move. Nothing here affects your statutory rights. We'll be honest about progress, delays and any changes through the campaign and our updates.
Your email & privacy
If you join the updates list we store your email address, the time you signed up and — if you arrived from one of our ads — a short tag telling us which one. It's kept in Google Firestore and used only to send occasional Save a Bee updates: campaign progress, production milestones and shipping news. We never sell or rent it. We do run ads on Meta, and this site loads the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics, which set identifiers on your device and tell Meta and Google when a page is viewed or the form is completed — so those two companies process data about your visit. There are no other third-party trackers here. Unsubscribe or have your address deleted at any time — email hello@saveabee.bz and it's done.
